In case you didn't know, a new FX Network tv show began this week. The show is centered around a U.S. Marshal that comes home to Harlan KY. Hope everyone keeps watching and the show can continue to bring attention to our area. "Justified" airs on Tuesdays at 10:00 pm on the FX Network.

FYI, Starting 3-8-2010, Main Street from Clover to Mound will be closed for construction. Power lines, poles and sidewalks will be under construction. Please do not park or travel in this area during this time. Any vehicles parked there when construction begins will be subject to tow and impound at the owners expense. HPD decided that we would take up donations from the officers to buy Christmas presents for the kids staying at My Brothers House. Others heard and also got involved. The guys from the street department, the girls from city hall, wives, mothers and other friends and family of the officers and dispatchers all got involved. We took all the presents over for a pizza party and had a ball with the kids and their parents. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
